At a later stage, he joined Cavit’s winemaking team. Cavit stands for Cantina Viticoltori del Trentino, a Coop which comprehends 11 associated wineries and around 5250 winegrowers.

Co-Founder of Circly GmbH, isn't originally a techy, but has a background in business law and then studied business management for SMEs in Krems an der Donau. He grew up nearby the Pfalz and then moved to the Wachau region, which cemented his preference for Riesling, Grüner Veltliner and Sauvignon Blanc. His professional career includes stints in auditing, legal advice and investment banking. However, he quickly realized that he belonged in self-employment. Before his current company, he successfully founded and sold a company in the gastro-tech sector. At Circly, he is responsible for consulting, sales, finance and legal matters. In addition to Circly, he is doing his doctorate at the Institute for Transport & Logistics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business with the topic "How to smoothen the bullwhip effect by using AI".

Fernando Romero Galvan is a Ph.D. candidate student at Cornell University with a B.A. in Geographic Information Science. His thesis focuses on detecting plant-microbe interactions with machine learning, geographic information science, and imaging spectroscopy – also in cooperation with NASA. Recently, his first chapter on detecting Grapevine Leafroll Virus on grapevines in California vineyards made headlines as it was the first time a pathogen was detected at the early asymptomatic stage in grapevine using remote sensing and highlighted the power of NASA earth observation data products.

Lorenzo Biscontin is the founder and CEO of Labhornet, the Italian start-up who created Vinophila Wine Expo: the 1st metaverse dedicated to wine and alcoholic beverages. Vinophila Wine Expo mission is to provide wineries with a new media to integrate and enrich their physical strategies and to better target their customers – especially a younger consumer group. Biscontin is also a consultant in the wine industry on marketing and business management and writes about these topics in several on and offline magazines.
The conference will be held exclusively in English, but don't worry - there will be a simultaneous interpreter on site to translate into German.
