4,300 wines from all over the world in the competition
Tomorrow, Thursday 29 August 2018, the 23rd Grand International Wine Award MUNDUS VINI will take place in the Saalbau in Neustadt, Germany. Exactly 4,311 wines from 38 different wine nations of the world will be tasted and evaluated by an international jury of experts. The best wines will be awarded the recognized and coveted medals Silver, Gold and Grand Gold.
Most of the wines submitted for tasting are from Italy (almost 1,200) followed by Germany and Spain (each 750), as well as by Portugal (360) and France (310).
The results of the MUNDUS VINI Summer Tasting 2018 will be published at MEININGER ONLINE during next week.
For the first time the “wine export meeting" will take place during the Summer Tasting of The Grand International Wine Award MUNDUS VINI on Friday, 31 August 2018. The meeting is aimed to all wine producers and wine professionals, who are interested in obtaining first-hand information on selected wine export markets. Six countries with potent wine sales are the focus of the premiere of the WINE EXPORT MEETING – among them India, Norway, China, USA, Korea and the Netherlands.
