Tastingresults

The Grand International Wine Award took place for the 32nd time at the end of February. With a total of more than 7,500 wines tasted over a total of 6 days, the results once again offer an excellent overview of the current wine qualities and this in time for the world's leading trade fair ProWein in Düsseldorf, which takes place in mid-March.

For the first time, the tasting of non-alcoholic wines took place as part of the MUNDUS VINI Spring Tasting 2023. A total of 187 wines were tasted, and the best were awarded 21 gold and 54 silver medals.

At the now fourteenth edition of the Grand International Organic Wine Award, nearly 500 organic wines from 11 countries faced the international jury of experts in the competition in mid-January.

The January tasting of Meininger's International Spirits Award (ISW) rang in the new year with the categories of wine and pomace spirits, fruit brandies and fruit spirits, and liqueurs of all kinds. A total of 595 spirits were blind tasted by the expert jury, of which 178 were awarded a medal. 11 products received Grand Gold, 155 a gold and 12 a silver medal.
