More than 6,700 wines from all over the world // Award ceremony at the world’s largest wine trade fair ProWein // 270 international wine experts travel to the Palatinate region
Tomorrow, Tuesday 20 February 2018, the 22nd Grand International Wine Award MUNDUS VINI will take place in the Saalbau in Neustadt, Germany. More than 6,700 wines from 150 different wine producing regions of the world will be tasted and evaluated by an international jury of experts. The best wines will be awarded the recognized and coveted medals Silver, Gold and Grand Gold.
Most of the wines submitted for tasting are from Italy (1,700) followed by Spain (1,400), as well as by France (750) and Portugal (700).
The results of the MUNDUS VINI Spring Tasting 2018 will be published at MEININGER ONLINE on Tuesday, 27 February 20018.
The award-winning wines from the Spring Tasting will be presented at the MUNDUS VINI Tasting Area at ProWein in Düsseldorf, the world's largest wine trade fair, from 18 to 20 March 2018. The wines awarded with a special award will also be honoured at a prestigious award ceremony on the first day of the exhibition. The MUNDUS VINI board will personally hand over the certificates to the wineries.

The 10,000 wines that are submitted every year are clear proof of the importance this competition has now achieved all over the world.
