The Grand Non-Alcoholic Competition of MUNDUS VINI GmbH is an international competition organised in Germany for dealcoholised wines and sparkling beverages made from dealcoholised wine from all countries of the world. The aim of this competition is to promote product qualities and the marketing of the products entered. An independent, neutral and professional assessment of the products by an international jury guarantees that the competition is conducted in a serious and professional manner. This gives the medals awarded by MUNDUS VINI NON-ALCOHOLIC, the awarded products and their producers a high degree of recognition.

1. admission of samples

All producers and marketers of dealcoholised wine and sparkling beverages made from dealcoholised wine worldwide are eligible to participate, provided that the products are authorised for direct human consumption in accordance with Annex VII Section II of Regulation (EU) No. 1308/2013 for wine or in accordance with the general food law regulations. The entrant is liable for the marketability of the products entered and it is not the responsibility of MUNDUS VINI GmbH to check the marketability of the products entered in Germany or the respective countries of origin. The same product may be entered repeatedly in the competition. The lot numbers are decisive for the identity of the products for repeated participation.

Ready-to-use products from all countries are admitted. Samples not received by the closing date (1 February 2023) may be excluded from the competition.

2. admitted categories

Products of the following categories are admitted:

2.1 Dealcoholised still wines of all grape varieties or cuvées and flavours.

2.2 Sparkling beverages made from dealcoholised wine of all grape varieties or cuvées and flavours.

If the submitter does not provide the complete data, MUNDUS VINI GmbH reserves the right not to award the product. MUNDUS VINI GmbH additionally reserves the right to check products for their identity; this commercial analysis may be invoiced. The information in the product passport is binding for all publications, certificates and awards.

4. application fees

4.1 A set-up fee is charged for each sample submitted. This fee covers the costs for the registration of the samples, the travel and accommodation of the international expert jury, the organisation of the competition as well as the issuing of the awards and certificates by MUNDUS VINI GmbH.
