As one of Europe’s leading brand strategists Prof Kilian has built the largest brand portal in German-speaking countries “Markenlexikon.com”. He is a member of the jury for the “Marken-Award“, a member of the Board of Reviewers of the “Der Markentag” as well as a member of several expert panels. Since 2012, he has headed the “Brand and Media Management” master’s degree program at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt.

After studying economics in Germany and Sweden, Prof Loose obtained a PhD for her “Country of Origin Effect for Sparkling Wines”. During her various stays doing research in Australia, France, Denmark, Italy and the United States, she deepened her experience and knowledge in the field of food marketing and qualified as a professor on issues of agricultural and nutritional marketing. With her well-founded analyses of the future of the wine market, she has quickly made a name for herself.
After graduating with a degree in Business Administration from ESB Reutlingen and the University of Madrid, Cathrin Duppel has been working for Rotkäppchen-Mumm, initially for the marketing of Jules Mumm and Geldermann and, since 2016, as Marketing Director for the entire brand portfolio of Rotkäppchen-Mumm. She initiated and is the catalyst for the change processes within Marketing in the development of a company-wide digital strategy. Before joining Rotkäppchen-Mumm, she worked for Strock Travel Retail, Remington and Procter & Gamble.
Since 2007 Juan Park has been working at Wine Intelligence and has been Director for Iberia and South America since mid-2016. He currently heads up the Wine Intelligence Spain office in Valladolid and works with clients from Spain, Portugal, Chile, Brazil and Argentina. Previously, he served as Research Director for more than ten years at the UK office. After graduating with a degree in Sociology from the University of Salamanca, Spain, he worked in Madrid as a marketing analyst.
Dr Joerg Meurer

Dr Joerg Meurer is Strategy Consultant and Specialist for brand management, marketing and communication. As a consultant, he concentrated early on growth strategies, strategic change and transformation processes, as well as value-based marketing and sales programs. Since 2007, he is a Managing Partner and Shareholder at Keylens Management Consultants. His prior work experience includes working for Deutsche Lufthansa as well as Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. He is also a founding member of the “Luxus.Marke.Lebensstil” forum in the German Brands Association.
For around 25 years, Dr Pilz has been editor-in-chief of the WEINWIRTSCHAFT editors. He reports on the German and international wine industry and, together with his editorial team, he provides an indispensable medium for every professional wine producer and wine merchant. After studying agricultural sciences and earning a Ph.D. at the University of Stuttgart-Hohenheim, he launched his career initially in the wine and food retail trade as a buyer of wines and spirits. By establishing a Sekt producer as the subsidiary of a winery cooperative, he became one of the pioneers of the German sparkling wine industry before joining the writing profession as a journalist.
Robert Joseph has been awarded prizes as the author of over 25 books on wine. He holds lectures on wine marketing at various universities and faculties such as the Burgundy Business School in Dijon and the University of Sonoma in California. With his thought-provoking and broad-based knowledge, he is a highly respected speaker in the international wine industry. A French brand of wine, which he launched in 2005, today sells more than two million bottles in 40 countries. He is a member of the editorial team at MEININGER'S WINE BUSINESS INTERNATIONAL and a board member of Mundus Vini. His latest book on the future of the wine industry has been published in 2018.
In 2004, Christian Ress became a co-proprietor of the estate with his father and, in 2010, assumed responsibility as director of business operations. Since then, he has continued to expand the wine estate, which today comprises 46 ha. He has achieved considerable national attention in the wine trade for innovative projects, such as planting a vineyard on the island of Sylt in 2009, opening the wineBANK in Hattenheim in 2009, “sinking” bottles of RESSpekt in 2010, and, last but not least, through his tireless, quality-oriented efforts.

Véronique Hombroekx has spent her career in food retailing. She joined the Sara Lee group in 1997, where she was promoted to the Coffee & Tea Board in 2006. As International Director, she set up an international sales department in order to develop partnerships with major international customers. She continued to enhance her experience with a move to Zurich-based Mondelez International in 2010. Returning to Belgium in 2015, she joined the Sigma Alimentos group as CEO of Imperial Meat Products, a meat processor. In January 2018 she joined Baron Philippe de Rothschild as Managing Director of the Branded Wines Division.
Nikolas von Haugwitz

Nikolas von Haugwitz is a Member of the Management Board at the mail-order retailer Hawesko. He joined the company in 2003 and was initially responsible for the non-wine business. Since 2007, he is responsible for the entire business. He became Managing Director of Hawesko in 2008 and Member of the Management Board in 2015. After completing his degree in Economics he began his career as a consultant and assistant to the Management Board in the capital goods industry. During the first e-commerce wave, he was a member of the management of a mail-order company belonging to Metro.
